In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15), we spoke with two of our Hispanic scholarship recipients who attended R.B. Stall High School in North Charleston to hear about the hurdles they’ve overcome, what they are looking forward to in their first year of college, and what higher education means to them.
We honored 179 students who qualified to receive the Meeting Street Scholarship for the upcoming year and heard from recipients and philanthropists about its impact.
To offer additional support to students, we partnered with Let’s Get Ready, whose near-peer mentorship program offers one-on-one guidance that helps mentees navigate a successful college experience.
