Effective Date: 02/25/2026

Beemok Family Foundation, together with our respective subsidiaries and affiliates, including Meeting Street Scholarship Fund LLC and Beemok Management, LLC (collectively, “Beemok,” “the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of Meeting Street Scholarship (the “Scholarship”) applicants’, recipients’ and interested parties’ (“Covered Individuals”) information. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard personal information when communicating with Covered Individuals through 3rd-party SMS/MMS text messaging services as part of our authorized business operations. It also outlines Covered Individuals’ rights and choices regarding such communications.

This policy is designed to comply with A2P 10DLC (Application-to-Person 10-Digit Long Code) messaging requirements established by U.S. mobile carriers.

1. Purpose of Text Messaging

We use text messaging to provide Covered Individuals with important Scholarship-related information, including but not limited to:

  • Application announcements and status notifications
  • Alerts and reminders related to required application components and deadlines
  • Operational alerts
  • Process updates
  • Scheduling
  • Two-way communication for business purposes (if applicable)

Participation in text messaging programs is voluntary and not required to apply for the Scholarship. Participation in text messaging programs will not affect eligibility or access to the Scholarship.

2. Information We Collect

When you opt to receive text messages from Beemok, we may collect the following information:

  • Your mobile phone number
  • Your name and, if applicable, applicant ID
  • Messaging interaction data (delivery status, timestamps, opt-in/opt-out events)
  • Message content exchanged between you and the Company

We do not collect sensitive personal information via SMS unless required for legitimate business or safety reasons.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for legitimate Company purposes, including:

  • Delivering business-related text messages
  • Verifying your identity when needed
  • Responding to your messages
  • Operating, monitoring, and improving our communication systems
  • Maintaining compliance with carrier, industry, and legal requirements

We do not sell or rent personal information collected through text, and we do not share with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.

Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, including but not limited to customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Third-Party Messaging Providers

We may use approved 3rd-party messaging platforms to deliver text messages. These providers process data on our behalf and are required to maintain:

  • Data security protections
  • A2P 10DLC compliance
  • Confidentiality of a Covered Individual’s information

We do not permit third-party providers to use a Covered Individual’s data for their own purposes.

5. Consent & Opt-In Requirements

Covered Individuals will receive text messages only after providing valid consent. Consent may be given via:

  • Written acknowledgment
  • Digital form or portal
  • Text message opt-in (e.g., replying “YES”)

Applicants who are minors (ages 13–17) may provide consent on their own behalf. Parents or guardians of minor applicants may contact the Company at any time to opt out of text messaging on the minor’s behalf.

Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of, or applying for, a Scholarship award. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving marketing and non-mandatory program text messages at any time by responding: “STOP”.

Once we receive your STOP request, we will cease sending marketing and non-mandatory program messages to that number except for a confirmation of your opt-out.

You may re-enroll at any time by contacting Company or replying “START” (if available).

Opt-out may not apply to certain mandatory emergency or safety alerts as permitted by law and Company policy.

7. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Covered Individuals’ information, which may include:

  • Encryption, where supported
  • Access controls
  • Vendor security assessments
  • Monitoring, including for unauthorized access

Despite these measures, electronic communications involve inherent risks, and no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain text message data only as long as required for:

  • Business operations
  • Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations
  • A2P 10DLC audit requirements
  • Internal recordkeeping policies

After retention periods expire, information will be securely deleted or anonymized.

9. Your Rights

Covered Individuals have the right to:

  • Request access to their text message–related personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Opt out of text communications at any time
  • Ask questions or raise concerns about this policy

Requests can be made through the Company or the appropriate internal contact.

10. Prohibited Use

Company text-messaging channels may not be used to transmit:

  • Sensitive personal data unless specifically required
  • Harassing, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
  • Confidential Company information unless communication is authorized and appropriate safeguards are in place
