Recipient Lilah Urbina-Rodriguez is proof of what’s possible in the Pee Dee

This spring, the first class of Pee Dee scholars supported by the Meeting Street Scholarship Fund graduated from college. Among them is Lilah Urbina-Rodriguez, who earned a nursing degree from the University of South Carolina and is returning home to Florence to care for patients at McLeod Regional Medical Center. The Scholarship opened the door to an internship, a mentor and a brighter future.
