Four years later: First class of Meeting Street Scholarship Fund recipients graduate

Four years ago, the Meeting Street Scholarship Fund launched to give more high-achieving students with demonstrated need the opportunity to go to college.

Ninety-four Charleston County students earned the Scholarship that first year, and now they are graduating. One of those students was Allen Gomez.

Allen is the first in his family to graduate from college, and he plans to go to medical school.
